We're seeking a Python programmer to work on a cutting-edge, open source search engine project for both us and our clients. Experience of C/C++, XML, SQL, web design, AJAX, the Arabic language, Xapian, Lucene or Information Retrieval a bonus. Contract basis initially (market rates paid) but may lead to permanent position. You would need to be able to work off-site and to provide excellent references, and attend weekly meetings in Cambridge, UK.
